The Gulf to Bay Fishing Club is open to anyone that enjoys the water, boating, fishing, fun and friendships. We are a family oriented club and do not favor any one style of fishing over another. From shore-bound anglers, kayakers and pier fishermen, to grouper diggers, fly fishermen and big game enthusiasts, we invite all interests, styles, and budgets.
Our mission is to share information, make new friends and help bring fishermen together for great days on the water.
We hold monthly meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at our Home location, Marine Max in Venice, next to the “Circus Bridge”. Our meetings start at 6:30 pm and feature guest speakers, tackle companies, seminars and fishing reports.
In addition to our informative club meetings, we sponsor “mini fishing funaments” and various fishing and boating trips for all interests. We could be snapper fishing on a reef one day, stalking a flat on another, or taking a lunch cruise to Boca Grande the next. We will share recipes, various fish cooking methods and some “outside the box” ideas that will help you better enjoy cooking and eating what you catch.
Our events are “member driven”, and completely up to you !
Membership dues are $40 for an individual and $50 for a family (up to 4 people) and run from November 1st through October 31st. You can download your online membership application here: Membership Form

Feb 11 th: Saturday Morning Tackle Talk
Location: Marine Max in Venice, by the “Circus Bridge”

Bring your favorite rods, reels and tackle and we will help you rig and set up for whatever you fish for. Heck, bring your boat if you want ! Meet other fishermen and enjoy a cup of coffee and donuts. This is a very informal, open format seminar and we will provide insight and tips into any topic you want. Fishing reports strategies and what is working now will be open for discussion. Don’t forget your best fish story !!
This is a great way to get a feel for what is happening on the water now and talk with and meet other fishermen and boaters in our area.
