Hook’Em and Cook’Em

You have spent a lot of time and resources fine tuning your fish catching skills, but do you know what to do with that slippery creature once you take the hook out of its mouth?  We are proud to have the ability to bring to you the most sought after seafood cooking class in Southwest Florida.

Chef Marc Pegram, Executive Chef from the Venice Yacht Club is our Staff Cooking Instructor and teaches you how to cook your catch in a simple, easy, yet mouth watering fashion.  Chef Marc has won countless awards for his culinary skills and in his off time is an avid fisherman.

These are extremely unique courses and oftentimes Chef Marc will accompany us on a fishing excursion to catch the fish he prepares in his class.  These are “Live” cooking courses, that include all of the instructions, demonstrations and yes, tasting of the “Final Product.”  Watch as he magically transforms a classroom into a five-star dining establishment with all the place settings and complimenting ambiance.

These one evening courses are specific to locally caught species and cooking styles and include your full course dinner!  Some of the more popular recipes include Seared Tuna appetizers and various Grouper and Snapper presentations.  Don’t miss this one!
