An avid outdoorsman and boater, Jim Ingram is our electronics instructor and the owner of Marine Electronics Installation, INC.

Jim holds an NMEA certification, FCC General Radio Operator’s License (w/RADAR endorsement) and is fully certified by Garmin and Raymarine Electronic Companies to perform warrantied installations, troubleshooting and repairs.

With over 17 years of electronics training and experience, Jim’s company specializes in quality marine installations and technical support for boats and yachts of all sizes.

As an Instructor for the Feeding Frenzy Academy, Jim teaches mariners how to get the most out of their specific GPS, Fish Finder, VHF and other marine electrical systems.

Providing detailed insight into specific brands, he is able to give our students the necessary skills to get the most out of their particular make and model GPS or Fish Finder. Jim’s courses are not “generic” overviews of miscellaneous electronics. They are unique to the most popular brands of electronic gear that you have on YOUR boat, enhancing your ability to “Fish Smarter, Not Harder”.
