Chef Marc Pegram

Chef Marc is the face of our extremely popular “Hook’Em and Cook’Em” seafood preparation courses.

Winning countless awards, including the 2009 Venice “Iron Chef” Championship, The People’s Choice Award in 2005 and 2006, along with six NICA medals for his brilliant ice carving sculptures, Chef Marc is a culinary magician.

His distinctive skills include varieties of fish and seafood cookeries that embrace Latin American, Caribbean, Asian, French, Italian and Spanish cuisines.
With more than 30 years experience in fine culinary arts, Chef Marc is extremely passionate about his profession, possessing a distinctive ability to impart his knowledge and expertise to aspiring amateur chefs.

Chef Marc’s cooking courses at the Feeding Frenzy Academy are designed to teach the average person how to cook their catch. Because most people are intimidated by the notion of preparing fresh seafood at home for their families, Chef Marc delivers insightful, but realistic cooking methods that can be achieved by anyone.

Chef’s classes are “Live” cooking demonstrations where you get to enjoy a multi-course meal in a fine dining atmosphere. Accentuating fresh, locally caught fish and shellfish, Chef Marc will eagerly invite his students right up to the stove with him, literally providing a front row seat that will tempt any palate.
An avid fisherman and music buff, Chef Marc oftentimes can be found at the Venice South Jetty just before sunset chasing his favorite quarry, the snook. Chef Marc’s courses are always sold out with waiting lists the norm.
